Renew your domain for one year

Check renewal eligibility, review the price, and confirm a one-year renewal.

Open the renewal check
Go to Settings → Domains and locate your domain under Domains purchased through Tecapy. Choose Renew for one year. Tecapy checks the registrar’s renewal eligibility in the background before requesting a price.
Review eligibility and pricing
A container appears directly below the domain’s action buttons. If renewal is available, it shows Eligible for renewal, the current expiry, and the one-year price in your store’s currency with its USD equivalent. If renewal is unavailable or the quote fails, read the message and retry later or contact info@tecapy.com.
Confirm only when you are ready to pay
Choose Confirm & pay for renewal to save the renewal request and open Flutterwave using the displayed price. Until you confirm, no renewal payment starts. Choose Cancel to hide the quote if you do not want to proceed.
Complete checkout
Complete the payment in Flutterwave and keep the receipt. A renewal adds one year and leaves automatic renewal off. If you close checkout or the payment is not completed, you can return and try again after the page has reset.
Wait for renewal confirmation
Renewal does not change the domain’s current activation status. A domain that was Active stays Active, with its management tools available, while renewal awaits confirmation. The renewal button shows Renewal pending to prevent another renewal payment. Use Refresh status to check progress; do not pay again while it is pending.
Check the updated expiry
After confirmation, use View details to check the registrar’s latest expiry date. If payment was submitted but renewal remains pending, email info@tecapy.com with the domain and payment receipt. Closing or clearing displayed details does not cancel a submitted renewal.
